The increasing number of stay at home dads has led to an increase in blogs such as my daddy cooks.

The change in cooking habits has now moved the what to cook for dinner question away from the mums and onto the dads. All families are always on the look out for easy to cook ideas but then there people have always had a demand for this. Dads that are cooking for the family are starting to undertake a number of different recipes. The increasing number of recipes that are being tackled as led to an increase in the number of dads that are cooking for their families.

There is a number of reasons why dads cook for their family in some cases it is because they want to and take turns of doing it. However in some cases it is because they have found themselves out of work and having to be a stay at home dad. It is fair to say that when a dad loses his job it is a very hard to come to terms with.

One good thing about being a stay home dad is that you get to spend more time with your children and this is possibly one of the best things that you can do. It is fair to say that at some point the dad will need to return to work however in the short term most dads find it nice to be at home with their children and spending their time caring for their family.

There is a large number of blogs that can be found online relating to stay at home dads. A lot of stay at home dads enjoy making fresh meals that are interesting and these are beneficial to their health.

Stay at home dads are getting a lot more creative in terms of what they are cooking. The dads are now including spices, herbs and ingredients in the meals that they are preparing. As everyone knows it can be very hard to create a delicious meal whilst on a budget.

In some cases it will be easy to cater for the children however this will depend on their age. Young children will in most cases be willing to try any foods but older children will not be as accommodating. If the children are very young care will need to be take in order to ensure that they are able to digest the foods that they have been given.

Another good idea would be to encourage the children when it comes down to cooking the food. A lot of children enjoy cooking and playing with food, this can give them the encouragement that they need to consume the food when it is ready. In most cases the children will be more likely to consume the food because they have made it.
