Hell's Kitchen And The Las Vegas Steakhouse

By Eric Thomas

Currently, the television show Hell's Kitchen is taking the world by storm. For, the fact is this season probably has some of the least talented chefs of any other season of the show. As such, there is no telling as to which contestant might become the Executive Chef at the las vegas steakhouse owned by Chef Ramsey.

While popular since the premier episode, if the show does not improve when it comes to choosing contestants, there is a good chance of cancellation. For, while some winners have become extremely successful, others have often fallen short when it comes to actually working for Chef Ramsey. Regardless, the money and title which comes with winning are still worth the effort contestants put into the experience.

Master Chef and Hell's Kitchen are currently the most popular cooking shows on network television. While Chef Ramsey is involved in all these shows, each has a very distinct and unique format. Although, Chef Ramsey tends to show a more ruthless side on these shows as compared to a much softer side on Master Chef Junior and other shows featuring children as contestants.

When it comes to Master Chef Junior in which the chef works with children, viewers often see a much gentler and kinder Chef Ramsey. In addition, there is still a great deal of constructive criticism though presented without the typical cussing and yelling found on the more adult oriented shows. As there are multiple judges on the Master Chef Junior shows, contestants often receive differing opinions from the judges.

While there are other competitive cooking shows such as Iron Chef, Guy's Grocery Games and Beat Bobby Flay just to name a few, Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef currently remain the most popular. Whether due to the latter airing on network television, or the competitive nature of the shows, viewers love watching Chef Ramsey and contestants on these shows.

When it comes to satellite and cable shows, Iron Chef and Iron Chef Junior are often the most popular among viewers. At the same time, shows produced by Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay are most likely the second most watched cooking shows on the Food Network and Food TV. For, these two amazing chefs seem to connect with audiences though in a more laid back way than Chef Ramsey.

Whether planning on operating a food truck, opening a restaurant or becoming involved in promoting a food oriented television show, there are basically contests in every category. As such, individuals interested in becoming involved in these areas of business can often get a head start by winning one of these contests. If nothing else, auditions can often be a fun experience and free to attend, even if the individual is not selected to be part of the show.

Most contests on network television, satellite or cable send representatives to lead auditions around the country. Whereas, there are others which require individuals travel to a specific location. In some cases, those auditioning can bring prepared food while others require individuals to cook on site, often within a specified period of time.
