Food is a very integral part of living for both animals and humans. It is a source of nourishment that provides people their daily dose of vitamins and minerals that they need to go on with their usual activities. Good food does not have to come from somewhere very far, too. In fact, if you have been blessed with a green thumb, you can grow your own patch of green in every available area. It also unleashes the environmentalist in you. By being in favor of a seasonal diet, you can help save the planet without too much effort. If everyone chooses to utilize local crops, then commercial ones will eventually die out in the market.
