When you have guests arriving in less than an hour, you might get panicky thinking about what to serve them. You need a meal that will not lose in taste to other people's cooking. Moreover, you do not want to make just any sort of dish. You need one which can also be helpful in enhancing your guests' health.

Since that is the case, then you better equip yourself with some knowledge regarding dishes you can make in less than an hour. You have to get ideas on how to prepare healthy 30 minute meals even on short notice. Here are some examples of dishes you can create when your guests are arriving any time now.

You can have burgers served to the guests. The burger is not just any kind of burger. It is a veggie bean burger. This means that the dish you will serve to the guests is fit for vegetarians. The burger can be garnished with shredded carrots at the side, squeezing a bit of lemon on it. The dish becomes more savory that way.

Stir fry dishes are easy to make too. You can create a stir fry dish in less than half an hour. One of the recommendations you can take note of for stir fry dishes would be the Asian dish chicken stir fry. You may add instant brown rice to cook faster. This should be a nice idea, especially since brown rice is healthier compared to white rice.

Salad is one of the many recipes you can create in no more than half an hour so it should be a perfect dish to make for short notice visits. For the salad recipe, you can fix a recipe that takes inspiration from California rolls. Instead of making sushi for it, you an just make this into a salad recipe you can offer to guests.

Another dish you can make on short notice would be chicken wraps. For this dish, you will need to use cooked ground chicken. This will become the filling you will use for the chicken wrap or pita pocket. To make the cooked ground chicken tastier, you can add other ingredients like chili powder, bell peppers, and ground cumin into it.

Normally, you will serve chicken Parmesan if you have time to prepare for it. However, the visit being on short notice, you might not have enough time for the preparation. Thus, you can go with the lightened version. You can have herb-grilled chicken cutlets for it, with mozzarella topped tomato half on the side. Garnish it with some lemon-kissed basil.

If you can see corn in your cupboard, you can also turn that into a savory dish your guests will love. One of the dishes you can make out of corn would be salsa. This will have a vibrant flavor that will wet the guests appetite for more. You can side the corn salsa with a quick-cooking steak spiced with chipotle.

You might only have salmon in your freezer. That should be good enough to make a dish. You can sautee the salmon on lemon and lime. After that, sprinkle a bit of basil-infused olive oil. It will not take you half an hour to make this particular dish.
