Importance Of Brochure Printing That Is Eco Friendly

By Dominique Martin

The term environment is defined as the conditions or surrounding in which human beings and animals live in. It is thought to have adverse effects when humans do not care about it. The effects may be long term and very hard to rectify. In the past people were not so concerned about the environment they lived in until everything started getting out of hand. It was then that human beings were forced to change their living habits the hard way. Little things such as print papers could affect it. However these days more people have been sensitized on the need to adapt brochure printing that is eco friendly, just to save the environment.

There are numerous effects that are caused as a result of using traditional methods of prin. For this reason, there are other methods which can be put in place to ensure less paper is used in the offices. Such methods include using of email services, short messaging services or even using phone calls, instead of papers. This has so far proven to be sustainable. However, there is still usage of papers which is inevitable.

When workers are subjected to these volatile organic compounds for long hours, they soon start developing certain bodily complications. Liver damage, kidney and lung damage, skin degreasing and dermatitis are just some of known effects associated with inhaling of these harmful compound found in the print industry.

Other disadvantages of non-green printing comprises of deforestation. Papers are manufactured from trees and therefore massive print means that you use a lot of papers thus a high demand for more trees. It is advisable for one to adapt new methods such as using the electronic methods to sending emails and using telephones instead of paper work.

Also, you should utilize most of the paper by making print on both sides, in a process called back to back printing. This would save a lot of paper wastage. You can also expand the margins of your printing and print as much information as it can hold. This way a lot of paper would be saved thus less deforestation. Brochures also can be printed this way.

Most of the workers would soon develop liver problems, skin problems such as dermatitis, respiratory problems, skin degreasing and many others. This was as a result of inhaling these very harmful compound gases in the firm. Some notorious compounds would include dissolved silver, isopropyl alcohol, phosphoric acid amongst many more.

This also is an advantageous because it reduces the emission of some volatile organic compounds thus good for your health. Problems such as asthma are out of any question when using this method. This is because there is little or no production of VOC. Volatile organic compound contributes to lower formation of the ozone, which then triggers a lot of respiratory diseases.

Another change that has happened in this sector is the phasing out of water and alcohol printing, with the waterless printing. Research has shown the quality of brochures is much better than the conventional offset printing, little or no volatile organic compounds and large amounts of water is saved.
