What You Need To Know About Competing Conservative Candidates Illinois 2014

In the political arena in America, voters need to be assured that their needs will be look after by the favorite party. One of the parties that people are getting more and more comfortable with is a conservative. Democracy has to be there for any country to succeed in protecting the rights of its citizen, and that is why conservative candidates Illinois 2014 decided to compete so that they can fulfill the dreams of their voters.

In the various districts, competition was heated with candidates moving the masses in a great way. In the 16th District, the game was the same, candidates faced off each other in a historic way. The district covers Chicago suburbs and north central Illinois. It stretches to the Indiana and Wisconsin borders. The district also stretches to the Rockford, La Salle, DeKalb and Watseka. The competition in this district was marked with a heated struggle for power.

When in the competition, the politician will prefer to compete where they are known most like their home towns. This was witnessed in the Manteno area where most voters are democratic, and they prefer to have their own who is Adam kin zinger. Although he won the race, he had a huge competition from the republican who is Don Manzullo a former pilot in the air force.

Another district that has a tough competition is the known 2nd district which had many competitors including Jesse Jackson. It includes Indiana border, South of Chicago, and Kankakee. Jesse Jackson Jr has been in this race the longest with 16 wins, but he had a big challenge of racing with Debbie Halvorson a past U. S Rep.

In the 2nd district, Halvorson saw a weak point coming from Jesses political and personal problems making it his point of campaigning. In the previous votes, Halvorson was defeated by Adam Kinzinger in the election of 2010 standing in another district. A woman who worked as a sales representative of Mary Kay competed against Jackson.

The conservative competitions continued to take different twists and turns in the 8th District. The area covers the northern suburbs of Chicago. The suburbs include Elgin, Schaumburg and Bloomingdale. During the campaign period, two Democrats announced their plans of contesting. The two include Tammy Duckworth, who was an Iraq war expert. He was also the former Veteran affairs assistant secretary in the Obama administration.

Tammy Duckworth was challenged by his other democrat raja krishnamoorthi who had earlier lost his election in the year 2010 as an Illinois comptroller. He took his time to give his democrat challenger a tough competition. These two democrats were good in challenging each other.

Other competitors in 2014 include Joe Walsh a Congressman. He is known for attacking Obama administration and his TV appearances. In 2010, Walsh had won in a nearby district. These among other competitors like Don Manzullo a Republican has shaped the competition in Illinois. This is where freshmen had to face incumbent aspirants while others were jumping and hoping from one district to another.
