Writing Of Kids Book About Actors

By Sally Delacruz

While growing up, children need role models and mentors. Many times, they look at people who have succeeded in life as reflections of what they want to be in future. Anyone who wants to write a kids book about actors, therefore, must be very careful not to cause development of negative thought about stars among children. If care is not taken, kids might even disregard the acting profession acting.

No writer should take it for granted that, because the books are solely written for minors, then anything can be written. This is, in fact, where a lot of care must be practiced than even what happens in writing books for grownups. Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that the characters in such written works must be realistic.

Some of the varied things that should be placed for considerations include; content type, levels of language, the number of pages and realism . These issues ought to be carefully observed to discourage wrong things from getting to the kids.

When writing for kids, writers should always ensure that the information exposed to children is not above them; it should be suitable and fit for kids. As most actors engage in immorality and social evils, their personal lives should never be exposed to the kids. Just as personal lives should never be included in writing kids book, some scenes in the actors movies should never be talked about to children as they may too be dirty yet writing about their immoral behavior may encourage or tempt the kids into engaging into those things.

It is also critical for writers to mind their language while writing such works. The language to be used in writing the book needs to be free of vulgar words and phrases since these are likely to hurt the development of kids in terms of mentality attitudes. Language may also include pictures; they have to be right ones for young people.

Children books on actors are written with the sole purpose of mentoring young minds. There reading capabilities are most not well developed. It is, therefore, necessary to have fewer pages to avoid discouraging the kids from reading. The amount of content should also be just enough to be read in one sitting.

Even after considering all the factors mentioned above, the qualities of these stars should not be exaggerated. They should be made to look like real human beings whose actions can be done by any other human being. Making them look unrealistic may discourage the kids from working hard. They may think that no one else can do what is done by the stars. If possible, the subjects of the books should be developed from their early lives to current ones.

From this discussion, the conclusion that can be drawn is that writing books for children concerning actors is not a walk in the park as it may appear. Caution must be observed. The information written should suit them in all its aspects. Vulgar elements, hard content and unrealistic descriptions should be eliminated using all possible ways. The language used should also be of their level.
