Doing Good With The Wildcat Foundation

By Virginia Bailey

One of the greatest lies human society ever told itself was that of equality. Equality is not something that is just given unto the planet. The world itself can hardly be called equal. In every corner of the world, there will be those who rise above others. Not because they are better in terms of ability, but because they were given the opportunity to practice and train, thus developing competence better than someone who was never given similar opportunities. Then there are genetic freaks, people born with natural physical gifts that most other individuals could never hope to match or accomplish. But that inequality does not exist only in humans. It also exists in the facets of human society, in school districts. But where there is inequality, there is the Wildcat foundation.

The organization is a recognized charitable institution. This of course means that if one were to make donations to it, then those donations could potentially be deducted from taxes. As a charity, their main goal is to help.

Their mission is simple. That simple mission would be render aids to schools that need it. They do this by enlarging their endowment and then sending some of that money off to a school that they determine has a legitimate need for it. That money is then supposed to help meet that need.

It is needed because of one reason. Some schools will get to have more funding than other. This is because they are funded directly by the taxes of the district to which they are designated. But then there are times that even when it is properly funded, that the needs of the student population just overtax the coffers.

It helps the community as a whole. The primary beneficiaries are the students, who can then go to schools that have the resources they need. But there is a ripple effect. When one aspect of the community improves, the others follow suit. A rising tide lifts all boats and whatnot.

It offers help by using money. That is what makes the world go round. They collect donations to fill up their endowment. Then they empty their coffers to various schools who have projects that need funding that their budgets can no longer provide for.

People volunteer for a number of different reasons. A person can want to seem good, they may volunteer in order to look better in the eyes of their peers. However, it should be noted that there are individuals out there who are legitimately good. They do not want to look like they are virtuous, they simply are.

Donations are the pipeline by which most charities are funded, and this is no different. Now, it should be noted that donations can be made in the memory of someone who has passed away, sort of like a tribute to the deceased. In any case, donations can also be helpful as soon as tax season rolls into town.

The world can be rather difficult to live in. But there are entities out there who seek to make it less so for everyone involved. But their job is a difficult one, and they may need some help themselves in order to make the world a better place.
