Bible Restoration On The Relationship Between God And Man

By Joanna Walsh

When humankind disobeyed God at the Garden of Eden, God became angry and decided to punish Adam, Eve, and the generations that would come after them. There was nothing like Bible Restoration at that time because God was so angry that He did not have a second thought about forgiveness. The loving and kind King could not imagine nursing and entertaining disobedience and therefore, he had to punish the world.

He cursed the womb of Eve, and said that the woman would be subjective to her husband. He cursed man and said that he would sweat all his life to get food to eat. You can imagine that just after He created life, the great King proclaimed death to the world, and since then, sin entered the world and the good relationship between God and man broke.

The first point in human history where God made a promise to restore humankind was at the time of Noah. God would have chosen to destroy the world, and life would no longer exist. Instead, he made a promise that He would restore the earth, and never again in heaven and earthly history destroy the world with such a big storm like he did.

The Good Lord was okay with this rebellion though. After all, it was difficult for any person to love by the law and at the same time live right before the sight of God for the simple reason that it was difficult to live by the law. And because human beings are weak and subject to sinning, there had to be a better way to connect human beings with God.

When God made the decision that He was going to give His only one son Jesus to come and save the world, He was sure that it could be the only way to save the human race from destruction and loss. It was the only way to restore the broken relationship between God and humankind. This was the only way to show the world the love of a loving and kind King who sits on the heavenly throne.

When Jesus came, he lived a good life, fought the good fight, healed the sick and talked about the message of the cross, which left many wounded hearts healed, hopeless lives hopeful and confused generation focused. And when the son of Man died and rose again, there was a new covenant created.

His birth, death and resurrection were all foretold events in Biblical history. Moses, David, Joel, Daniel and John the Baptist spoke about him and everything they said came to pass. His birth, life, betrayal, death and resurrection were all foretold. And when He rose from the dead, there was a joyous restoration of the broke relationship between God and humankind.

Today, Christians are waiting for the big day; the day when they will be taken from the earth to spend eternity with God n the Kingdom of heaven. The bible says it is soon, but no one knows the time or the season. The only thing anyone knows is that God and humankind are now friends.
