Will Google Wallet Replaces Your Wallet?

By Cornelius Nunev

Will Google Wallet replace the conventional wallet? Many think such digital wallet services are the wave today.

Get the application on your cell phone

You can effortlessly use Google Wallet to pay at stores where the digital wallet payments is present by linking your credit and debit cards to a Google Wallet account and downloading the app to your smartphone. You just have to go to the Google Wallet site and set up your account.

Assigning account number

A virtual MasterCard account number is given to anybody who uses Google Wallet, and typically that is the number that is charged. Occasionally, when used offline, the preferred card is charged later instead, but typically the master number is used. You can connection any card you need to your account from any card producer. Whenever you make an online purchase, you choose the preferred card you need right then and there.

You can keep thieves from stealing your account info by using a virtual number instead of a real one. On top of that, the information for the card is stored with the number instead of with your mobile phone. Google Wallet can then deactivate on the phone and wipe all info from the app if you report your phone stolen.

Taking Google Wallet everywhere

Though you still need your wallet for things such as driver's licenses, you may be able to stay away from all credit and debit cards on your person. Rather than carrying around cash and cards, you can just take your phone with you. Use Google Wallet rather than carrying around a chunk of plastic to cover things. It will not be long before your driver's license is digitized and you also will not need anything else anymore anyway.
