People With Discriminating Taste Love Chinese Cuisine

By Joseph Kennedy

The first and foremost need of man is food. To this extent, the early occupants of the planet used up of his time in acquiring this base need. They had to play hide and seek and catch me if you can with the other animal inhabitants of the planet. In modern times man no longer need to be like this. All he plays with now is his stomach. He satisfies the belly with exquisite delight from dim sum international buffet Los Angeles CA.

In ancient time families bonded together with other families and formed tribes. This was led by a tribal who naturally emerge for the group. At this juncture of human history, these tribes were gatherers and hunters. The food they ate was in the form of fruits, berries, and plants that they gathered and meaty flesh from smaller hunted animals.

The age of discovery and exploration was triggered by the search for the islands where spices could be found. This was the time that civilizations experienced the exotic flavor of spices. This was the result of humans experimented with different mixtures in preparing meals. This in itself was initiated because of the discovery of fire and how to control it.

The various regions of the world play host to different species of plant and animal life. This greatly impacted their preference for certain types of nutrition which can be seen in their staple food. Different parts of the planet have unique flora and fauna which can only survive well in that area. It follows that population in that locality will acquire the taste for what is abundantly available.

Although there are variations in a region, on the whole, it can be said that the people of the Americas and Europe have a preference for bread, mostly made of wheat flour. Asians are fond of stir frying and adding spices to their cuisine. Africans on the other hand, because of its dry environment are prone to eat tapioca, fruits, and other tubers.

In modern times, one word that is being used often is brunch, a corrupted combination of breakfast and lunch which is food being taken sometime after breakfast and right before lunch. It is too heavy to be classified as snacks. Let us just say it is just pleasure eating. This is best represented by a Chinese cuisine practice called yum cha, now referred to as dim sum.

This became extremely popular and became widespread in the United States and arrived on land through the great Chinese migration that happened at the time of industrial renaissance as railroad tracks were being laid down all over across the continent. Great railroad companies employed these immigrants to work on laying down the tracks. These groups made their own communities which are the origins of Chinatown or little China.

Inside these eateries, one does not have to stand up and walk over the counter to choose and order his food. They can just sit in place and wait for a dim sum cart to stop by. These carts are full of Chinese cooking delights from which a customer can randomly choose. Various types of cuisine are offered like dumplings. Meat rolls, steamed rice, and wontons.

Today the world has become one large community. Nations have to forge better relations and the technological advances made in the transportation have literally obliterated any notion of borders as people from nation to another anytime they want for as long as they have the financial capacity to do it. Cross cultural cuisines are exported and imported make people more attuned with different types of prepping.
