By Debra Murray

Beer has always been known to be the oldest drinks men have began to consume since their inception. Humans has began to make the drink since 3000 B. C. It is loved by hardworking men and women and is chosen as a preferred drink for not only casual occasions such as just being inside the home but also for going out to a bar if drinking hard liquor is not preferred as the drink of choice for most.

The process of making liquor has taken a lot of experimentation in the years that have gone by. It took to different methods as peoples taste have changed over each passing year. This have lead to making different beer making supplies for common use inside homes or for bars that wish to make a self made concoction.

The product known to be beer as spread through out Europe by early Germanic and Celtic tribes going back as far as 3000 BC. The brew was mainly done in a domestic way. The early product that these Europeans drank may come be recognized as liquor by people of today as it was very different in terms of taste and how it is fundamentally made.

Way before the industrial revolution began, most were made in domestic settings like houses or mills. Monasteries were also known to create to their self made ale to sell to people and drink it themselves as well. The industrial revolution came and gave new advancements to how its made. The most important is moving from domestic production to industrial production.

Brewing is what making beer is called. This sort of process has lasted for centuries because of how effective and innovated it is. The building that are called breweries is the place where brewing happens, that started in homes until it has moved to factories for further research and faster production for these products.

Brewing ingredients is the purpose to convert starch into becoming a sugary substance known to be wort and would have wort made into an alcoholic beverage that is known to be liquor after the fermentation process has affected the yeast inside. There are several different steps that could be taken in process of creating the alcoholic drink.

In its first step, wort is in preparatory stages by mixing starch, known as malted Ale, with hot water. This method is called mashing within the industry. The hot water, known as liquor in brewing, is placed with malt that is crushed grist into a device known as a mash tun. The process of mashing would take an hour or two, in which starch is converted to sugar. After that sweetened wort is now filtered and separated.

Collecting the sugary wort is next. After that, placing it in a copper or kettle and allow it to boiled for sometime. The boiling is done for an hour and after wards, the water inside the kettle should evaporate into the air. After that each sugar should still be in wort. The perks of this method is that it will get rid of enzymes that could be harmful.

After boiling is done, fermenting comes after. This includes placing the hopped inside a fermenter where the yeast is added within the product this method, the wort will become beer after weeks or months that depends on how strong the beer is and what type of yeast was used in making it .
