The initial job that you will need to do is to dig out a space in the ground which is about eight inches in depth and about fifty meters across. The next task which you will have to do is to spread the gravel until it is about two inches thick and cover it with one layer of mortar on top of the gravel so it extends to a few inches from the edge. Use the trowel to place the combined water and mortar in the pit.
Smooth the area over whilst the mortar is still damp. Continue this process until you have built the pit up to the height which you require. A lot of the design work is really mainly down to your preferences.
